Good Day, Sunshine

Today it is actually kind of hot outside! It's been soooo long since we've had warm weather. I decided to celebrate by eating outside at the park by work. I used to go there every nice day with Kate and Kristi before they found better things to do with their lives than work here. Now I shall dine solo.
I decided to branch out and try a new sandwich from the snack bar at work--the Cali Kid. And no, it's not because I'm from California. It just sounded good: ciabatta roll, turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, cucumber and "avocado spread". The avocado spread comes from a freezer bag, that's for certain. Not that I didn't completely expect it, but it was a little disappointing. All in all, it was a fair sandwich. Just fine for #96.
Also disappointed was the guy with the cute miniature schnauzer who always came over to chat when Kate ate lunch with me. Today they played in the grass, no visiting with boring old me.

I spent most of the afternoon working outside at a coffee shop. On my way there, I was remembering how exciting it was to eat outside and how depressing to go back inside afterwards. I may not have to go back inside now, but the company certainly isn't as good. Schnauzer-man excluded.
