Beth and I checked out St. Paul's newest fancy sandwich joint, Cheeky Monkey Deli, this afternoon.
I had the shrimp roll--a mild salad of nicely cooked shrimp with greens and zippy pickled carrots. Beth had the pot roast sandwich. It was pretty awesome. We got sides of homemade potato chips and homemade pickles. Deelish. We ordered Two Brothers French Country Ale as well. I don't where Two Brothers Brewery has been all my life, but I hope it sticks around. They make some tasty suds.
There are tons of other tasty sounding sandwiches on the menu and it's not so far from work so I'll be back, Cheeky Monkey, have no fear!

I'm thinking you need to do a restaurant review blog...just sandwiches in the twin cities!
